The True Story of Sleeping Beauty by Julia Scott-Douglas

This is a quick poem inpired in part by Neil Gaiman’s “The Day the Saucers Came” and Jake Bible’s “Dead Mech”. It’s rated PG, but does contain death by zombie hoard, kraken and other foul beast. Also, children be warned, your dreams of becoming a princess who is awakened by prince charming are about to be crushed.
