UCLA Writer’s Faire
My mom and I will be attending the UCLA Writer’s Fairethis fine weekend. If you’re in LA and like that sort of thing, you should check it out. UCLA has an amazing writer’s program, and the Faire has decent seminars (plus, they had a drawing for a free class last time and I won. W00t!)
Anyway, this isn’t a plug or anything, I just happen to enjoy the Faire a lot. If a person who reads my blog (besides you, mom) sees me at the Faire, come say hello and I’ll give you a copy of a short story I wrote.
(As a note, my parents see all my writing, so it wouldn’t be much of a reward for them… plus I’m going with my mom, so she will for sure see me, and that simply doesn’t seem fair.)
*9/10/08: Note – I ended up going to the Faire for only a short time and didn’t see any of the people who read this blog there. Oh well, you’ll just have to catch another chance to win a short story some other time. Anyone have any suggestions for a contest?
